Abstract

The first abstract from Edinburgh highlights the prevalence of thromboembolism in the population at large. This is one of the few studies conducted in outpatients and suggests that this phenomenon that is more prevalent than generally believed. The authors suggest that this should be actively sought in all contrast enhanced CTs of the chest. Spondyloarthritis is common and causes significant morbidity. Madsen and Jurik suggest a MR scoring system to classify chronic changes and correlate these to plain radiographs.
