Abstract

The subpleural sparing is a chest computed tomography (CT) finding which was previously considered as a specific feature of nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP). However, various other causes may also be associated with subpleural sparing. More recently, it was also reported in association with Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pneumonia on chest CT scans. We aimed to present two of our patients with serologically confirmed Covid-19 demonstrating subpleural sparing accompanying with a very limited peripheral pulmonary opacity in one patient and also in extensive involvement in another patient.
